Marina Buchberger

Marina Buchberger was born in Vienna in 1991. Until 2010 she received recorder, violin, viola and baroque viola lessons with Hanns-Christian Stekel, Klaus Peisteiner, Georg Hamann and Ulrike Engel. She completed her bachelor studies at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität Wien (Early Music) with Michael Posch and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (IGP) with Theresia Köck, both with distinction. She also studied with Pierre Hamon at the CNSMD Lyon and attended numerous master classes with Dan Laurin, Han Tol, Sergio Azzolini, Alessandro Quarta, Lorenzo Cavasanti and Michael Form, among others. She has played in various chamber music ensembles in Austria, Italy, France and Switzerland (including Styriarte Lunch Concerts, Mimiko Basel, KHM Vienna, Festspiele Stockerau, Entroterre Festival). She is currently studying Early Music (Master) at the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität Wien and teaches recorder and violin.
