The Fringe is part of the Utrecht Early Music Festival 2018. This year the world’s largest early music festival takes place from 24 August until 2 September.

The Fringe at the Utrecht Early Music Festival functions as a springboard for young talent. It gives talented musicians the opportunity to present themselves to a large audience in some of the most beautiful concert venues in the historical city of Utrecht. All participating ensembles are also offered to receive feedback from early music professionals.

Fringe concerts are free of charge. For some of these concerts, it is necessary to pick up free tickets at the Festival cash desk beforehand due of the limited capacity of the location. This is possible from 9.00 am on the day of the concert. There is a maximum of two tickets per person per concert.
